When measuring for width, examine your window horizontally in three places - top, middle, and bottom - from outside edge to edge of the window frame. For the height, measure from top to bottom, and order the size that matches this longest measurement.
This blind can be mounted both inside and outside of a window frame. Inside mount means completely installing the blind within the window frame, which requires a frame depth of at least 2 inches. For an outside mount, add at least 1/2-inch or more to your measurement to ensure coverage of the desired area. A blind longer than your recorded measurement will work, as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.
