For an inside the window frame mount, provide the exact measurement of the opening to the 1/8th inch. We will take a 3/8-inch deduction to ensure the shade fits perfectly. The shade must be slightly smaller than the opening to fit inside. Remember, we deduct the 3/8 inch, so give us the exact opening measurement. You need at least 1 1/4 inches of depth at the top of the window for an inside mount.
For an outside the window frame mount, fill out the customization form with the exact size you want the shade to be. Outside mounts are traditionally mounted above the window opening and go slightly wider than the opening. These are child-safe, cordless, light-filtering cellular shades, also known as pleated or honeycomb shades. They offer both light filtration and complete privacy. They come with a limited lifetime warranty and all necessary hardware included.
These bottom-up only shades have a minimum width of 21 inches and a maximum width of 72 inches. The minimum height is 24 inches, with a maximum height of 72 inches. The headrail is 1 5/8 inches deep and 1 inch high. For inside mounts, you need at least 1 1/4 inches of depth from the top, and for flush inside mounts, 2 inches of depth are required.
